The EcoPorts 2006 International Conference will be held on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th December 2006. The Port of Genoa will host the meeting.
The title of the conference is 'From Environmental Management to Sustainable Management in Ports and the Logistic Chain'.
During practical working sessions we will look at how environmental management is evolving into sustainable management, what this means for the Port Community, and how the EcoPorts toolkit can support this.
The programme will also look at the results of the work done in European collaboration projects and define and discuss opportunities for further collaboration.
