Lowestoft Eastern Energy Facility (LEEF)

ABP will develop a new green infrastructure at the Port of Lowestoft in Suffolk over the next five year. The Lowestoft Eastern Energy Facility (LEEF) will enable the port to accommodate new, modern offshore support vessels and will allow for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities and construction support activities to be carried out in the port, thereby supporting the production of offshore energy of the wind farms in Barrow, Grimsby and Lowestoft. The Port’s Outer Harbour will be the main site of the LEEF, where the existing quayside will be re-engineered. In addition, eight acres of storage and marshalling area will complete this project.
