Position of the European Sea Ports Organisation on the Commission’s proposal on Port Reception Facilities

ESPO welcomes in principle the new proposal on the revision of the Port Reception Facilities (PRF) Directive and its objective to build upon the substantial progress achieved under the existing Directive.
For European ports, ship waste is one of the main environmental priorities, as indicated in the ESPO Sustainability Report 2017.
