Copenhagen Malmö port to host the 10th GreenPort Congress, 7-9 October 2015

This year, the 10th GreenPort Congress is taking place from 7 till 9 October in Copenhagen Malmö Port. The 3rd GreenPortCruise will be held on 6 October 2015, the day before the GreenPort Congress.
The 10th GreenPort Congress will focus on greening the role of ports in the logistics chain. It will highlight the innovations in equipment and technology to allow port users to adhere to policy, whilst illustrating practical solutions through case studies from the global logistics chain. The GreenPortCruise Congress will for its part deal with issues such as the ECA 0.1% compliance and the future fuel to be used within the port sector. The Cruise Congress will try to highlight the consequences for cruise ports and cruise lines.
The Congress will provide decision makers with a meeting place to both learn about and discuss the latest in sustainable environmental practice. Environmental managers, planners, harbour masters, logistics managers, energy managers, sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility executives from ports, terminal operators, shipping lines, shippers, logistics companies and other industry stakeholders, will all come together to learn, discuss, debate and network at the two day Congress and its associated social events. These include an evening Welcome Reception on 6 October 2015, the Gala Dinner on 7 October 2015 and a Tour of Copenhagen Malmo Port on 9 October 2015, all of which are included in the delegate fee.
