COVID-19: Commission guidelines on the progressive restoration of transport services and connectivity

On 13 May, the Commission published a package of guidelines and recommendations to help Member States gradually lift travel restrictions and allow tourism businesses to reopen. Among others, the package includes Guidelines on the progressive restoration of transport services and connectivity, with some important principles, recommendations and measures related to maritime passenger transport, including guidance on the use of personal protection equipment and on limiting contact among passengers and between passengers and transport workers in ports and on ships.
