New agreement around hydrogen between the Port of Valencia and Hamburg

The Port Authority of Valencia and Hamburg Port Authority, together with the Valenciaport Foundation, have signed an agreement around the development of hydrogen projects applied in the maritime sector, in line with their commitment to fight climate change. Following this agreement, both ports will work together on projects around the generation of hydrogen, storage stations, use of hydrogen in terminals and machinery, and supply and transport to the hinterland. The collaboration between the two ports also intends to involve their port and logistics communities to foster competitiveness and innovation. The Port of Valencia and Hamburg have been involved in hydrogen initiatives for years and have been sharing their experience in reducing emissions in the past. The agreement represents a step further in their collaboration.
