Offshore wind farm at Germany’s Mukran Port

The German Mukran Port has been chosen as the base port for the ‘Arcadis Ost 1’ 257MW offshore wind farm, located in the Baltic Sea, approximately 19 kilometers northeast of the island Rügen. The port's experience with offshore projects makes it the ideal location for the operations centre of this first offshore wind farm in Germany. Construction of Arcadis Ost 1 is planned to start at the beginning of 2022. The wind farm is scheduled to go into full operation in 2023.
