Ports of Rotterdam and Gothenburg are to establish a green corridor
24 October 2022
On 13 October, Port of Rotterdam and Port of
Gothenburg signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to
establish a ‘green corridor’ to support
sustainable shipping. The two ports will work together on a framework to stimulate the use of alternative fuels to support maritime
decarbonisation. They also plan to later connect the Sweden/Netherlands corridor to a larger network of deep-sea
corridors.
