7. ESPO Code of Practice on Birds and Habitats Directives
In February 2007, ESPO produced a specific Code of Practice on the implementation of these Directives, which provides practical advice based on the experience of European port authorities and at the same time points at a number of unresolved issues which can only be tackled at policy or legislative level.
