ESPO CONFERENCE 2023 - BREMEN 1-2 JUNE: we are ready, are you?

In less than two months, the European port community will gather in Bremen for the 19th edition of the Annual Conference of the European Sea Ports Organisation. All information and registration details can be found on: www.espo-conference.com.
Together with our host, bremenports, we have put together a programme, venues and ideas to make it a two-day event you do not want to miss.
The stage is fully booked with an impressive line-up of high-level speakers and hands-on experts. But at ESPO Conferences, everyone has a voice. We count on the audience to challenge our speakers and ideas, and to feed the debate.
We are living in turbulent times where the ambitious pathway to get to net zero by 2050 crosses many other game changers and challenges: the energy crisis, huge inflation, and last but not least a changing world order. It is not anymore just the economy that rules the waves. Challenges always come with opportunities: incumbent and new players in the market are getting ready and striving to get most from the business opportunities that could arise from new energies, their supply chains and raw materials. Ports aim at being partners in the race to net zero. But how to plan and prepare for the future when the tectonic plates are moving constantly? More than ever, we need to talk and see if/how we can define the story of the future for ports.
ESPO conferences are more than a conference. Once again, we have chosen a unique venue for the conference: the magnificent heritage-listed Parkhotel, situated In the Bürgerpark, Bremen’s citizen park, will give all delegates plenty of opportunity to enjoy some fresh air in its beautiful gardens, and for the sporty ones, to go for a run before or after. On top of that, conference guests will be invited to a gala dinner in Bremen’s beautiful historic city hall.
