« Mega Green Port » project to coexist with Port of Långnäs (Finland)

A feasibility study has been initiated by two companies for the planning and construction of a “Mega Grön Hamn” (Mega Green Port). The new port will be located on the site of the current Port of Långnäs in Aland, considered as an ideal location by the partners. When completed, the Mega Green Port will act as a green hub for the Nordic region. It will focus on providing services to the shipping industry and it will create opportunities for new businesses and jobs, providing fuel for the e-shipping industry and construction logistics for wind power projects.
