Port of Esbjerg: Consolidating Market Leadership in Windmill Supply

The Port of Esbjerg is a market leader when it comes to handling and shipment of windmills. More than 2/3 of all offshore wind capacity in Europe is shipped from the Port of Esbjerg. But the Port has recently been looking at further increasing its ambitions in support to the green economy. Within the next five years, an additional 1 million square meters for storage of the windmill parts needed for shipment will be established. This will allow the Port to continue to serve the growing demand for offshore wind power.
